The Lakes Cairns Resort & Spa

The Lakes Resort is situated in 11 acres of lush, tropical gardens and scenic lakes, with several buildings scattered throughout. Located just 2 miles from the centre of Cairns, next to Botanical Gardens and the Centenary lakes. This resort is highly recommended for both short and long stays, offering a genuine Aussie living experience.

Facilities

There are plenty of facilities on this resort, such as the swimming pools and tennis courts but it is also easy to arrange trips from here. A visit to the Barrier Reef or to the rainforest, Cape Tribulation, is a fantastic experience. There are 2 restaurants, one at either end of the resort, Italian to the side of Reception, and Cafe at opposite end of the resort.

Accommodation

There are 340 apartments available all in very good condition and beautifully furnished. They either consist of 1 or 2 bedrooms with kitchen, dining area and separate bedroom, including a mini bar, cooking utensils, air-conditioning, TV.
